10+ years of outstanding service

I have been a Dreamhost customer for 10+ years and first heard about Dreamhost through Worldblu, an organization that certifies democratically run workplaces.

As a professional web developer, what I like the most about them is their super fast turn around support team, but in general, Dreamhost makes everything quite simple and their user interface is by far the easiest web hosting interface I have dealt with (and working in the industry, I have dealt with many!)

Not once has a website of mine gone down even for a moment, when they do maintenance, they always clearly communicate with ample time to prepare, they upgrade systems regularly and flawlessly, and their price for service is entirely reasonable.

I highly recommend Dreamhost for all web hosting needs.

SCAM!!! SCAM!!! SCAM!!!!Scammers Alert. ### Scam Alert: DreamHost Fraudulent Practices for my domain Loisair.com!!!

SCAM!!! SCAM!!! SCAM!!!!Scammers Alert.

I recently attempted to purchase a domain from DreamHost.com and encountered a deeply alarming experience that everyone should be aware of. DreamHost charged me $9 without my consent before I even created an account ..After creating an account to address this issue, my account was promptly disabled, preventing me from contacting their support team.

Adding insult to injury, I found the domain (loisair.com) still available on Namecheap, where I successfully purchased it. This indicates that DreamHost not only charged me unjustly but also failed to secure the domain.

This alarming behavior is unacceptable and suggests they are SCAMMERS. I urge everyone to avoid DreamHost at all costs and seek more reliable domain providers to prevent losing money like I did. Spread the word and stay safe online! I have evidence of our my account being disabled moments after they charge my card if anyone needs proof

Excellent Service Provided ALWAYS!!!

Hi!
I wanted to comment that DreamHost's tech team has given me IMPECCABLE service and assistance with my account! That is one of the 2 reasons I wanted DreamHost to also register and manage my Domain - the orice being the other reason! I am VERY grateful for the assistance offered, and for the tutorial links that have also been provided, should I have needed them (but, because you've managed things for me, I haven't!)

The agent who assisted was very thorough. Issue was explained and resolved in the first interaction and helpful suggestion for possible ways to avoid a recurrence provided.

I had a problem migrating a very old…

I had a problem migrating a very old web site with a very old theme from my old host over to Dreamhost. The issue required Wordpress theme code updates to make it PHP 8.2 compatible. These people are Wordpress experts as advertised, solved my problem quickly while keeping me informed during the process. And at a very reasonable rate.

DH Domain Renewal & Purchase

I had problems with what appeared to be an immediate double-charge on renewing one of my persisting domains with DH. However, using DH support Live Chat, I quickly got a full refund, which I used to cover, as I had planned, renewing a 2nd domain. I also then reserved, paid for, and Redirected a new domain, all of these done within one session. I like that DH has reasonable domain renewal rates, which include the cost of WHOIS Privacy Protection, as well as that competent and timely support is routinely available at least via Live Chat. DH, IMO, offers good value for hosting, Cloud Object, and domain registration services.

Customer service was amazing! Laura responded within an hour on a Saturday night (!) and had a solution I would never have thought of, and in ten minutes I had everything I needed. I'm super grateful!

Solid Customer Service and Simple Hosting Solutions

Dreamhost's strengths are customer service and simplicity. As a long time customer and a programmer with extensive cloud computing experience in AWS and Google Cloud, Dreamhost offers something that they don't: simple hosting solutions with simplified pricing and excellent customer support.

I recently moved my plan from shared unlimited to a VPS. I needed support to help facilitate the move and they literally did everything for me. It was well outside normal US working hours (I live outside the US), but they still performed the migration of around a dozen sites an hour or two after I submitted my ticket. Eveything works perfectly.

It's seriously unreal how good their support is compared to the industry standard. I've contacted them a number of other times and it's always been the same. I definitely recommend Dreamhost's shared hosting and VPSs. Vote for quality customer support with your wallet!

For a beginner I'd say dreamhost is the best ,I am very glad I chose it,the support team is very quick to reply and they offer better guidance and the don't take long to reply .I'd advice developers to use dreamhost they'll never go wrong.
