A one-panel untitled comic story produced by Dicky Howett as a cover illustration for an ultimately never-published book about John Nathan-Turner eventually saw print in the 2022 publication Monster Marvel Memories.

Summary[]

The First, Second, Fourth and Sixth Doctors wield pens, pencils and rubbers in an effort to produce a book. Meanwhile, a bemused John Nathan-Turner watches on with a Cyberman and Alpha Centauran by his side.

Characters[]

Worldbuilding[]

  • The Sixth Doctor uses a Dalek inkwell which is property of the BBC Props Department.
  • The Doctors have a TARDIS pencil case.
  • A script is laying on the floor.

Notes[]

  • Dicky Howett stated in Monster Marvel Memories that his "arm was twisted by the publisher" for this piece because he "hadn't really drawn anything for about 25 years". Howett's signature dates the artwork to 2019.
