Dalek Invasion of Ealing 1987 was a two-page spalsh-panel parodical comic story in Tim Quinn and Dicky Howett's The Doctor Who Fun Book. With a title referencing Daleks' Invasion Earth 2150 A.D. and hoverbouts aplenty, it was a callback to the imagery of 1960's Dalekmania, whose basic concept was that the Daleks' fame on Earth actually helped the real deal in their invasion efforts.

Although a police box quite possibly intended to be the Doctor's TARDIS is present, the Doctor makes no appearance in the flesh.

Summary[]

The Daleks are ransacking Ealing — but when one of the locals worriedly asks her husband what he thinks, he points out that it's just the BBC filming… for all that the Daleks' death-rays and the damage they cause to the buildings appears very real indeed!

Characters[]

Worldbuilding[]
