Background[]
Leeches are aquatic parasitic worms that feed on blood. Historically, leeches were used in medicine for bloodletting.
Characteristics[]
This post-War leech species has mutated and now has two heads for it to suck blood from its victims with.
In the series[]
After the Ghoul submerges Lucy in the water as gulper bait and takes her out, he picks a leech off her and feeds it to the dog.
Appearances[]
Leeches appear in the Fallout TV series episode "The Head". They are also mentioned in Fallout 4.[2]
Giant leeches were to appear in Van Buren, the canceled version of Fallout 3 by Black Isle Studios.[3]
