"Follow Your Nos!" is the second episode of the Vault Seller's Survival Guide, a series of short promotional videos for the Fallout TV series, consisting of training videos for prospective Vault-Tec sales employees narrated by Bud Askins (Michael Esper).

Synopsis[]

Only elite sellers may view this exciting codex for a career explosion! Discover stratospheric profits by coddling the customer as a Vault-Tec seller who “nos” that nobody gets rich on “nos.” Excite and delight every customer who is right (all of them) and earn a chance to outperform your peers, leaving them behind forever as you receive wealth imminently.

Summary[]

Bud greets the newly appointed full-time Vault-Tec sales associate, whose sales stats are "turning heads" and who now needs to tackle the tough sales. Bud then states that the Vault-Tec sales associate will learn how to "Follow his No's".

For customers who give the Vault-Tec sales associate who is told "no" by potential customers, Bud claims that it's just an opening bid.

Customer #1 claims she doesn't want to live underground, and Bud claims they will, citing they'll want to live in one of their multi-themed Vaults.

Customer #2 claims it's too expensive, but Bud asks if the lady would put a price on her family's safety? He goes on to state that Vault-Tech scientists project that nuclear war is an absolute certainty. If it's a cause of concern, all of their wealthy peers have already signed up, and thanks to regenerative sciences, Vaults will always have the necessary supplies to survive.

Customer #3 was worried about her children; Bud notes that they can come with her and mate with other Vault Children, compared to the surfacers, who would die alone. That's because all of the best doctors are down in the Vault.

Customer #4 claims they'll miss the old Earth; Bud then opines, "Saying it won't be there stupid" won't suffice. To achieve the various Vault-Tec prizes, a Vault-Tec sales associate must rely on the Holy Bible in situations like this.

Customer #5 claims it's unjust to leave people to die. However, Bud claims nobody is left behind and that Vault-Tec offers several above-ground options for the less fortunate; one such plan is Plan D.

Bud finishes the presentation by stating that hypocrisy is unavoidable with the current societal configuration, but that won't happen underground.

Greetings, Vault-Tec sales associate! Your sales stats are turning heads, so now, we need your help making the tough sales.

In this full-time employee exclusive program, you'll learn to follow your no's.

So, your customer's playing hard to get. Remember, "no" is just an opening bid.

I don't wanna live underground.

Yes, you do, when you realize the most beautiful tropical sunsets in the world are underground in our themed Vaults. Scientists guarantee that even if we never face a nuclear winter the sun will eventually burn out. That's not a concern underground.

But it's too expensive.

Would you put a price on your family's safety?

Let prospective buyers know that our Vault-Tec university accredited mathematicians project that nuclear war is an absolute certainty.

Cause for concern? Not for your wealthy peers, all of whom already signed up. And thanks to regenerative science, Vaults will always have supplies.

But what about my children?

They come with you. And your kids can mate with other Vault dwellers. It's the best dating pool on the planet, and it's America's future. The few inbred runts left above will die alone because all the best doctors will be underground.

I think I'd miss the old Earth.

Saying, "It won't be there, stupid," won't always make the sale. And to win Vault-Tec's famed performance-based prizes, you'll need to.

Emotional issues like these call for the strong stuff.

When Lot's wife turned to look back, she became a pillar of salt. You don't wanna end up like Lot's wife, do you?

Of course not.

It's unjust to leave people to die.

Nobody is left behind. Vault-Tec offers several above ground options for the less fortunate. Including Plan D, for those too lazy to inherit any wealth at all. Also, if your heart breaks for the poor, why are there three huge cars parked outside your mansion?

Hypocrisy is unavoidable with our current societal configuration. But things won't be that way with life underground.

Bottoms up. You're a star seller now.
