Our suppliers play a critical role in helping us execute our mission. Having a shared set of values when it comes to doing business together is important, as it impacts our stakeholders, the quality of our products and services, and our reputation for honesty, professionalism, and fairness. We view our suppliers and their actions as an extension of our own actions and reputation.
The Citizens Supplier Code of Conduct serves as a set of guiding principles that govern our supplier relationships. We expect our suppliers to achieve full adherence with this Code of Conduct, to communicate it as necessary to key leaders and employees, and to extend it throughout their supply chain.
The Citizens Third Party Resource Code of Business Conduct and Ethics sets out clear expectations for individuals working on behalf of suppliers and Third Parties as well. This is in addition to the requirement that our suppliers comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards in the local communities, states, and countries where they do business.
We use the Ariba Network to send orders and receive invoices from our suppliers. Potential suppliers are encouraged to visit https://www.ariba.com/ariba-network where they can get additional information and register for an Ariba Network ID (ANID). Once suppliers have registered for an ANID and been invited to an engagement, Citizens Procurement Operations will reach out to provide further instructions on engaging with the bank through the Ariba Network.
