Tokyo (東京) is the capital city of Japan and is frequently featured across the Kunio-kun franchise. It is often used as the city where a number of the games are situated.

During the finale of the game, Yoshihiro mentions that after he takes control of Osaka he plans on expanding towards Tokyo and eventually the rest of Japan. Yoshihiro states that in order for him to accomplish his goal, he had to transfer to Nekketsu High School in order to take Kunio out.
Shin Nekketsu Kōha: Kunio-tachi no Banka[]
Sabu would use his influence to take over Nekketsu and Hanazono High School with plans to take over Shinjuku and Roppongi with the help from Shinji and his crew.

Following the defeat of Sabu in Nekketsu Kōha Kunio-kun Special, Tokyo would remain relatively peaceful after he promised Kunio that he would keep his hands off of the city. In reality, Sabu would enlist the help of his brother Lee and the two would become the masterminds behind the Tokyo Lion Alliance's attempt at conquering Tokyo.
