Nishinomiya (西宮市) is a city in Japan briefly featured in Shodai Nekketsu Kōha Kunio-kun. It is an important commercial and shipping city within the Kansai region.
Background[]
During the events of Shodai Nekketsu Kōha Kunio-kun, Kunio briefly arrives in Koshien to look for Masaki Yanagisawa and inform him about Miho Yanagisawa's kidnapping. Once Kunio finds Masaki at the Hanshin Tigers Archives, he hands him a letter from Izawa asking for his assistance, to which Masaki agrees and gets ready to rescue Miho. Thugs from the Osaka Union are then seen waiting for Kunio outside of the building revealing that they were listening in on their conversation and mention Yoshihiro as being the Union's new leader and how he's likely going to hurt Masaki. A fight then breaks out between Kunio and the Union members surrounding him.
