“ Ahh... The lush forests and graceful mountains — it seems so peaceful. At first. But suddenly you're up against some of the fiercest martial artists you've ever encountered. They're strong. They're relentless. And they're net afraid to die. They stand between you and the first stone. „
~ Description from the Double Dragon III manual

China is the second mission in Double Dragon 3: The Rosetta Stone and Double Dragon III: The Sacred Stones.

Overview[]

Arcade

This is a short level that consists only of a few screens, with its challenge mainly posed by the amount of enemies encountered than on its length. The level starts right outside the shop in the middle of a Chinese forest, where hordes of Martial Artists will immediately rush and attack the Dragons.

After surviving the initial wave, the heroes exit the forest and reach a renown landscape: the Great Wall of China, where Li Cheng-Long (a fierce martial artist based on Bruce Lee) challenges them to a battle to the death for the stone he possesses. Lesser Martial Artists will come to his aid throughout the fight, but if the player is able to pin him against the wall (literally), he should not pose too much of a problem.
