For his arcade counterpart, see Chin Seime.
Not to be confused with Chin Taimei.

Chin Seimei (陳清明) is a playable character in the Famicom/NES port of Double Dragon III: The Sacred Stones. He is a master of Mōko Gazanken.

He later reappeared as an unlockable character in Double Dragon IV and the Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of the Dragons DLC.

History[]

Double Dragon III: The Sacred Stones[]

Chin Seimei is a master of Mōko Gazanken (猛虎雅山拳, lit. "Fierce Tiger Splendid Mountain Fist") and keeper of the first Rosetta Stone. Initially, he holds resentment toward the Lee brothers for the defeat of his brother, Chin Taimei, and confronts the player at the end of Mission 2, China, as a boss.

After he is defeated, he becomes a member of the player's party. He has the slowest moving speed out of the four main characters, but has high health and offensive power (particularly his palm attacks).

Total Power: 110

Weapons: Bare Hands, Iron Claw (5)

Double Dragon IV[]

Chin is an unlockable character in Double Dragon IV. He is unlocked by beating level 30 of Tower Mode, where he is fought alongside Ranzou and Sonny. He is modeled after his NES counterpart.

Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of the Dragons[]

Chin Sei Mei is the younger brother of Chin Tai Mei.
While he was originally set to take over as master of the Moko Gazanken Dojo, he left the dojo in shame after learning of what his brother Chin Tai Mei has done.
