Thanagarians are a race of winged humanoids known for their warrior culture. Some advanced species, such as Kryptonians, consider them barbaric.

Relationship with Kryptonians[]
At some point, their race came into contact with the Kryptonians and the two races opened relations. There were many tensions between the two races, and the Kryptonians looked down upon the Thanagarians as primitive and barbaric.[1]
