The Nazi Party, simply known as the Nazis, were the political party and militia of Germany under the reign of Adolf Hitler from 1933 to the end of World War II. Their goal was to eliminate anyone in Europe who was not perfect by their standards.

They were also responsible for kickstarting World War II and created some of the world's earliest known metahumans to be used as their ultimate weapon in the war.

Outbreak of War[]

In 1939, the Nazis attempted to invade Europe, kickstarting the Second World War. During their campaign, the Nazis invaded Paris on June 12, 1940 and ransacked the Louvre Museum, shipping the valuable items to Germany.^[1][2]

Finding a Mother Box[]

Near the end of the war, the Nazis found a mysterious object buried under an Italian monastery. They transported the object for delivery to Hitler, but the Allies intercepted the object and by 1944, it had reached the United States.^[3]

Defeat[]

On September 2, 1945, the Nazis and other Axis Powers were defeated and Hitler committed suicide, marking the end of World War II in favor of the Allied powers, After the dissolution of the Nazi Party, Germany was divided and occupied by the Allies.^[2][4]

Metahuman experiments[]

After World War II, many Nazi scientists and war criminals sought asylum in Corto Maltese and built their prison and laboratory Jotunheim to experiment on political prisoners. Eventually, the reigning Herrera Family betrayed and had them all murdered to collect the bounties on their heads whilst retaining control of Jotunheim.^[5]

• In Zack Snyder's Justice League, the Nazis were the ones ultimately credited with discovering and retrieving the Mother Box. In the theatrical version of Justice League however, the Nazis were completely removed from the story.
• The Nazi Party, officially known as the National Socialist German Workers' Party, was a far-right political party in Germany that was active between 1920 and 1945, that created and supported the ideology of Nazism. Its precursor, the German Workers' Party, existed from 1919 to 1920. It was originally founded by Anton Drexler, but was continued and twisted by Adolf Hitler.
• In real-life the German Chancellor Paul Von Hindenburg played a crucial role in events that helped the Nazis take control of Germany, such as when Von Hindenburg suggested that Hitler be offered the position of Chancellor and appointing several other Nazis to higher positions of power. In the DC Extended Universe however, Von Hindenburg was killed during World War I by Erich Ludendorff, thus leaving it unknown how certain events may have played out differently for the Nazis leading to their rise to power and eventual downfall.
