Shouldn't we add Katagiri and Soken to the Notable Members list as well. CoolJazzman (talk) 12:12, July 2, 2013 (UTC)

Those people aren't very notable, it's an infobox they are not meant to be very big and all those that have properly contributed to the story have been added!! Those guys are mere flashes in history that aren't very notable!! SunXia (Chat) 12:18,7/2/2013

Ok then fair enough. CoolJazzman (talk) 14:09, July 2, 2013 (UTC)

Addition to The History Section[]

Should we add the information about the Wandereich escaping to the Seirietei? Mr.Rig and Zig 23:07, March 8, 2014 (UTC)

All Quincy are humans[]

Since the article starts with "the Quincy are human mediums", all of them should have race designated as "Human (Quincy)" in their info-box, as Uryū, Masaki and Kanae does. Like Yhwach, Haschwalth, Bazz-B, they are all designated simply as "Quincy", with no "Human". Am I right (barring certain ones, such as BG9 and Pernidas)? Yatanogarasu (talk) 01:09, February 18, 2016 (UTC)

With all three of those people being over 1000 years old, it's seriously unlikely that they're still living humans. Even the rest of the Sternritter are living in the Soul Society, so they're probably souls as well. Kytti (talk) 00:20, May 11, 2017 (UTC)

shouldn't ichigo sisters be under quincy members page as well?[]

karin and yuzu are ichigo sisters sense he is part quincy shouldnt they also be marked as human quincy as wellTo love this (talk) 21:34, November 17, 2019 (UTC)

IDK, as they haven't demonstrated any Quincy powers, so they could just be considered humans wih above average Reiatsu. Now, don't get me wrong, I think it's very likely they can awaken Quincy powers if they trained or used the Hogyoku or something, but it's still just speculation. Timjer (talk) 09:01, November 18, 2019 (UTC)
Timjer is correct. They are not listed because they have not shown any sort of Quincy powers. Karin's ability to see spirits can be attributed to their dad just as easily as to their mam, but Yuzu can't even see spirits. If you remember back to when Uryu was shown being trained to use his Quincy powers by his granddad, Uryu was a young boy, probably similar age to the girls at the start of the the series. The girls just aren't on that level. Maybe if the series had covered more of them or given some detail on them post the 10 year timeskip at the finale they might have developed powers, but its all in the realm of speculation. ~~Ууp <talk> 09:43, November 18, 2019 (UTC)

Quincy aren't humans[]

So, as was brought to my attention by a certain "Mr. Human Hater", this wiki says (repeatedly) that Quincy are a variant of Humans. But the thing is the final arc makes it clear that is not the case. Quincy are outright stated to be one of the 4 races in Bleach (Souls, Quincy, Humans, & Hollows) and are notably different from humans in several ways (most notably being inable of Hollowfying). In fact, as Souls and Hollows are the two spiritual races, their polar opposites, the Quincy and Humans can be considered the two living races. So, I do think we should fix that.
