Baraggan Louisenbairn (バラガン・ルイゼンバーン, Baragan Ruizenbān) is an Arrancar in Sōsuke Aizen's army and the Segunda (2nd) Espada. Prior to this, Baraggan ruled Las Noches as the "God-King" of Hueco Mundo.

Personality[]

Despite Baraggan's own immense pride, he recognized the sheer danger that the Hollow that would become Ikomikidomoe represented, and therefore made a vow with the other Menos that the two would never interfere with each other.^[2]

History[]

Bleach: Can't Fear Your Own World[]

In the primeval days of Hueco Mundo, Baraggan Louisenbairn was one of the very first Vasto Lorde Hollows to have walked its sands. After a power struggle with other Vasto Lorde, Baraggan eventually emerged victorious and crowned himself the ruler of Hueco Mundo.^[2]

Eventually, Baraggan came into conflict with a particulary powerful Adjuchas and the two found a healthy respect for each other's powers. The two Hollows realized that a fight between them would be dangerous and therefore made a pact never to interfere with each other.^[2]

Bleach: Spirits Are Forever With You[]

At some point during Baraggan's time as ruler of Hueco Mundo, Baraggan recruited a powerful and highly intelligent Vasto Lorde named Szayelaporro Granz as his court's alchemist.^[3]

Powers & Abilities[]

Senescencia (セネスセンシア, Senesusenshia; Spanish for "Senescence"): While Baraggan was noted to be a very powerful Hollow regardless, what truly allowed him to defeat his contemporaries for the throne of Hueco Mundo was his signature Senescencia powers. Indeed, it was because of this power that Ikomikidomoe, despite his own colossal Reiryoku, was hesitant to fight Baraggan.^[2] Senescencia is a unique enough power that it cannot be replicated even by Roka Paramia's Negación threads.^[4]

Immense Spiritual Power: As one of the oldest Vasto Lorde Hollows to have lived in Hueco Mundo, Baraggan had an immense amount of Spiritual Power.^[2]
