Roka Paramia (ロカ・パラミア) is an Arrancar and a nurse in Sōsuke Aizen's affiliated army.
Appearance[]
Roka is a rather slim individual with medium length black hair and grey eyes. Her mask fragments take the form of half a skull covering the right half of her face. She wears a long green striped dress with a turtle neck, and black boots.[1][2]

Arrancar arc[]
Doing her duties as a nurse in Las Noches, Roka reattaches Yammy Llargo's severed arm. In gratitude, the Espada decides to test out his limb by attacking and killing Roka with it.[1]

- As part of the Spirits Are Forever With You collaboration in Bleach: Brave Souls, Roka appears as a playable character for the first time in her Resurrección form. In this form, Roka is a ranged strong attack character with the "Technique" Attribute and the "Hollow Killer" ability who has a chance to inflict Weaken with every attack; her first Strong Attack mimics Dordoni Alessandro Del Socaccio's whirlwind attacks, her second Stronf Attack is a tracking vortex based on Cirucci Sanderwicci's attacks, and her third Strong Attack uses Luppi Antenor's tentacles, with the last hit being his Hierro Virgen. She has three Innate Skills built in at ★5: "Full Stamina Only Increased Strong Attack Damage +40%", "Party Recover 20% Stamina", and "Long Stride", and her unlockable skills are "Berserker +40%", "Bruiser +20%", "Debilitator +5 secs.", "Devastation +40%", "Frenzy +1", "Havoc +20%", "Shared Complete Status Immunity", "Sharpshooter", "Sprinter +2", and "Status Ailment Spiritual Pressure Boost +80%", while her Soul Trait is "Strong Attack Recharge Time -12%". Meanwhile, her Arena Traits are "Strong Attack Damage +13%" and "Strong Attack Recharge Time -7%", while her Arena Abilities other than "All Stats +5%" are "Start Power-Up Item +2" at level 2, "Frenzy +1" at level 5, and "Increased Special Move Uses +1" at level 10. Roka's special is With a Smile (微笑みと共に, Hohoemi to Tomoni), where she restores Mugetsu using the threads of Negación and unleashes a slashing attack from a pitch-black blade that inflicts immense damage and Weaken while automatically reviving subsequently fallen team members once.
Censorship[]
- When Yammy's arm is reattached and he punches Roka, his action in the anime is changed to him slamming her into a wall and grumbling about how he should have been able to punch her through it.[2] In the manga, he slams his fist down on her head, causing it to explode, and grumbles about how he should have been able to split her in two.[3] The dialogue does not change from the manga for the English dub, as he still states he should have split her in two.[2]
Trivia[]
- This character is not named by Tite Kubo in the manga or databooks, nor is she named in the anime. The name Roka Paramia comes from the novel Bleach: Spirits Are Forever With You by Ryōgo Narita.
