My Dad said something interesting to me yesterday: "Don't vote in your best interests. Think about the most vulnerable person you know and vote for the party you think is in their best interests." A good plan I think, so that's what I'll be doing today.

"Take it or Leave it" I left it. Somebody tried to negotiate with me recently. Now don't get me wrong, I don't mind negotiating. I get it. I try and negotiate on everything but here are my rules on negotiating prices. If you want a cheaper price then I want some commitment back. If you want the price reduced then I want you to commit to a longer term. If you want the price reduced then I want you to pay upfront. If you want the price reduced then I want you to commit to minimum orders. But if you want the standard terms, the same as everybody else who pays full price, and you want 20% off? If you want me to do everything for you and be unwilling to give anything back? If you look me in the eye, are unwilling to budge and simply say "take it or leave it"? Nah - I think I'll leave it thanks. Value your services. Value what you do. If you don't then nobody else will. Can you relate to this?

Give me a couple of weeks and we will get it all set up." "Hmmmnnnn. We'll see" 2 weeks later....... "Sorry Mike. It's just not a priority right now" "I thought that might be the case Brian, remember when I said that interest fizzles?" "That's not what's happened, honest. We just have other things going on. I'll tell you what......give me a couple of weeks....." "Hmmmnnnnnn" And on and on it goes. #adayinthelife #SEO #DontbeaBrian

I've been very quiet on here of late. It's been a funny couple of months to be honest, loads going on, some good, some bad but all very stressful and my head is feeling a bit battered.
