"#TeamIndia's win of the #T20WorldCup2024 being celebrated 40,000 ft in the air on a @airvistara flight enroute #London ! My friend @i_hardeepsingh (in yellow watching the match on his laptop) just sent me this. You have got to love In-flight WiFi (sic)," Longani said in the post.

Hardeep Singh, the passenger on the Vistara flight who recorded the video, also thanked the airline for on-flight wi-fi service and seamless live match streaming.

"Flying @airvistara turned out to be lucky. All World Cup finals on board UK now! Or AirIndia once the merger is done! Anyway - this was a great experience. The matched streamed perfectly. Ball by ball! The airlines we deserve (sic)," said Hardeep Singh in reply to Longani's post.

INDIA's T20 WORLD CUP WIN

On Saturday, India defeated South Africa by 7 runs in the final of the 2024 T20 World Cup. With this, India ended its 11-year drought of winning an ICC tournament.

Star batter Virat Kohli was named the Player of the Match for his important 76-run knock. Pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah, who took 15 wickets in the tournament, won the Player of the Series award.

This is India's second T20 World Cup trophy. India also won the inaugural edition of the T20 World Cup in 2007 under MS Dhoni's captaincy.
