great
Arms brings surprising depth to the world of extendable-arm boxing, and its adapting party lobby is a great surprise.

I really enjoyed this game, loved the characters and the concept! Was always a bit disappointed it never caught on.

A completely underrated game. This did not get the popularity it deserved in the UK (it was popular in Japan) new mechanics to the typical fighter game, I also played in the Nintendo UK versus tournaments and finished number 1 worldwide which was a huge achievement for me, especially as I don't play any other fighter games like Tekken. It's easy to play but hard to master. There's different boxing gloves (ARMS) to collect in a mini game and each one has different abilities to add to the gameplay. You can mix and match as well. The game also has badges to unlock and a single player mode as well as an online multiplayer which is good fun. Unfortunately like most Nintendo games they only have a set lifespan and this is no exception. The online tournaments no longer run which is a real shame as it was a highlight in the first few years of the switch release.
I wish they would make a sequel but I highly doubt thats going to happen after 7 years. But this is an absolute gem, even for those like me who do not play fighter games frequently.
