Biography[]

Early life[]

At some point Dr. Espenson became employed at S.T.A.R. Labs and eventually became the Director of Applied Sciences.[1]

Meeting the Titans[]

Dr.Espenson meets with the Titans alongside her colleague Dr. Fitzmartin. She measured Kory's powers during a test in which Kory was asked to destroy a rock, and informed Kory that she was only accessing just over eight percent of her estimated power output. After this, Dr.Espenson is seen fitting Gar Logan into his new suit created by Bernard.[1]

When the Titans are planning how to teleport to Mother Mayhem's temple, Dr.Espenson discusses the theoretical process with Dick Grayson, stating that rearranging organic matter back into its original state is what Gar goes each time he transforms, and is charged with calculating how to do the same with someone who's DNA is not encoded like Gar's. Around this time, Dr.Espenson measured Kory's power output once more and noted that the results had jumped up to just over eight percent since the prior test. She warns Kory that this power had the potential to kill her.[2]

Dr.Espenson also worked alongside Conner when he, in his new Mr.Luthor persona, took over operations at S.T.A.R. Labs in order to turn the moon back from red to it's usual color in order to stop the Church of Blood.
