Volcano Sauce is a type of hot sauce that first appears in the episode "Karate Choppers." A drop of the Volcano Sauce speaks briefly in "Karate Choppers" and is voiced and acted by Tom Kenny.

Description[]

"Karate Choppers"[]

Volcano Sauce comes in a light red bottle with a picture of a light orange volcano on it that appears to be erupting. It is shown on a light yellow rectangle that also reads the product's name, with "volcano" written in black text and "sauce" written in red text. There is also a black rectangle on the side, which reads "HOT!" written in yellow text.

"Nasty Patty"[]

The bottle is slightly wider in this episode than it is in "Karate Choppers." It has a white label that depicts a light blue volcano erupting. The product's name is written in purple text, with the word "volcano" transcribed within the erupting lava. It has a light red cap.

Role in series[]

"Karate Choppers"[]

Sandy tries to drip Volcano Sauce on SpongeBob's tongue to get him to surrender, and SpongeBob imagines a talking drop of it. This is until SpongeBob forfeits and Sandy proceeds to drink the entire bottle.

"Nasty Patty"[]

Volcano Sauce's role is to poison the health inspector among the many other ingredients in the Nasty Patty.

Battle for Bikini Bottom/Battle for Bikini Bottom: Rehydrated[]

It appears as an obstacle in the Downtown Bikini Bottom level. Touching it will harm the player and cause them to lose their health if continuously touched.

The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie video game[]

It is an obstacle in the Patty Wagon driving challenges, which will harm the state of the vehicle if dripped on it.

Creature from the Krusty Krab[]

A billboard advertising Volcano Sauce can be seen in the console version of the game during the levels "Revenge of the Giant Plankton Monster" and "It Came from Bikini Bottom."

SpongeBob's Truth or Square[]

It is one of the game's happiness objects and one of SpongeBob's memories in the penultimate level.
