The fifteenth season of the American animated television series SpongeBob SquarePants, created by former marine biologist and animator Stephen Hillenburg, was announced on September 29, 2023. It has been confirmed that this season will consist of 26 half-hour episodes. None of the episodes have been confirmed yet.
On October 13, 2023, Carolyn Lawrence, the voice of Sandy Cheeks, released a custom promotional image for the season renewal and the series' 25th anniversary, as well as a piece previously used for the "SpongeBob Universe" premieres during that summer. The former piece contained a cut out picture of the main characters hugging Squidward from "Nature Pants," as well as a quote from "Texas."[2]
