Battlefield 3, BF4, Hardline on PS3 and Xbox 360 Servers to Shut Down on Nov. 7, 2024; Games to Be Delisted on July 31

For those still playing Battlefield games on the PS3 and Xbox 360, I have some bad news for you. EA has announced that Battlefield 3, Battlefield 4 and Battlefield Hardline on PS3 and Xbox 360 will not only be delisted on July 31, but the games’ servers will be shutting down on November 7, 2024 as well.

Starting July 31, all three titles will be pulled from digital storefronts, though each game’s single-player will still be functional like normal. Note that Battlefield 3, BF4 and Hardline on PC won’t be affected, as is Battlefield 4 on Xbox One and PS4. I repeat: BF3, BF4 and Hardline on PC will still have multiplayer available, and on PS4 and Xbox One, BF4 will still be playable.

Battlefield 3 was released back in 2011 on consoles and PC, and is widely considered the best Battlefield game of all-time . Its sequel, Battlefield 4, was released two years after in 2013, and kickstarted the PS4 and Xbox One generation of consoles. Battlefield Hardline was developed by now-defunct Visceral Games (Dead Space), and instead of being a military shooter, the game featured a cops and robbers theme.

For the complete list of delisted EA games, head on over here.

If you can, jump into Battlefield 3, BF4 and Hardline before its serves shut down on PS3 and X36 for good. I mean, it’s a proper send off to these games that are still held in high regard up to this day.

While EA hasn’t made any announcements regarding the next Battlefield, a recent casting call for the game sheds some light details on it.
