2cave is a non-playable character in Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2, appearing in After Story B. He is a member of the Assassin's Guild sent to test if Venom can live a normal life.
Design[]
2cave is a man of average size, with a muscular build, short hair & a beard. He wears a long military coat decorated, with a red tie, golden skulls on his arm & gold pins on his coat, very similar to the normal guild uniform. He also wears a pair of sunglasses.
Personality[]
2cave appears to be a calm & collected schemer, with a slight ego. After he stops testing Venom, it's revealed, that he was actually terrified to go talk to Venom & is shown to me a more carefree, then his first meeting suggested.
Story[]
In After Story B, 2cave & 2 other assassin's go to meet Venom, who is in an alleyway as a street vendor, trying to earn money to get a new body for Robo-Ky's. As they talk, 2cave requests a shoeshine from Venom and gives him the choice to either protect the town or return to the "wolves", or else they will kill an innocent bystander. Venom chooses to protect the town, and so 2cave gives Venom a shop in the main shopping district. It is revealed that 2cave & the assassin's had been sent by Zato to test Venom's resolve & revealed by Robo-Ky to have been extremely scared to go up to Venom.
Allusions[]
- 2cave bears a resemblance to French actor Jean Reno, who portrayed an assassin in the film Léon: the Professional.
