Jose Rodriguez (ホセ・ロドリゲス Hose Rodorigesu), better known by his friends as Pepe (ぺぺ Pehpeh), is a playable character in the one-on-one fighting game Rage of the Dragons. He is a heroic and adventurous young martial arts practitioner who hopes to someday face an opponent that uses the legendary Ryu Zui Ken fighting style.
History[]
Pepe is a well-loved and adventurous boy in his city. He discovered an ancient scroll of martial arts in the jungle during his childhood and secretly practiced the moves inscribed within. Unbeknown to him, he found an Aztec scroll made for heroes of the sky god, Quetzalcoatl. Once he hears of Pupa's dilemma, he agrees to help her find her brother. He personally hopes to someday test his might against the famed Ryu Zui Ken fighting style.
Personality[]
Upbeat and optimistic, Pepe loves to meet new people and helps them in anyway that he can. His charismatic magnetism for his friends and his sense of justice makes him a local hero.

- Electrokinesis: Pepe can control electricity.
- Electric fist: Pepe can create an electric ball around his fist.
- Thunder: Pepe can summon thunderbolts from the sky.
- Discharge: Pepe can release an electric discharge by touching his enemy.
- Electric attacks: Pepe can fuel his attacks with electric energy, especially from thunders he summons.

- Pau's design, Pepe's female friend who appears in his ending, was based in Paula Monroy, who is the wife of Mr. Vo, the main designer of the characters from Rage of the Dragons.
