Airlock is the fourth mission in Double Dragon Neon.
Overview[]
This level is a continuation of the interior of the pagoda-like rocket, but it puts more emphasis on environmental hazards and challenge rooms. The player enters a series of airlock chambers where they have to fend off groups of enemies; there's a window-like hatch on the background wall which opens from time to time, provoking a vacuum effect that sucks in any passersby and throws them into the emptiness of space.
Most of the rooms in the rest of the level are filled with traps (such as the iconic stomping claws from the NES version of Double Dragon II) and conveyor belts.
The boss of the level is Mecha Biker, who is a homage to another famous video game character, Mega Man.
