Shopkeeper

The Shopkeeper, or more properly Shopkeepers, are a group of supporting characters in Double Dragon Neon. They are five identical (presumably twin) brothers who each runs a "Curio Shop" in one of the levels of the game. They can be found attending the shops in Missions 2, 3, 5, 8 and 10. Each of these shops sells power-ups, extra lives and its own special selection of mix tapes.

The Shopkeeper resembles Mr. Wing, the owner of a curio shop in Gremlins and Gremlins 2: The New Batch.
- Unused concept art for the game (possibly of an enemy that didn't make it to the final release) includes sketches of two creatures that strikingly resemble both a mogwai and a gremlin, further reinforcing this reference.
The Shopkeeper is voiced by Len Smith, who also voices Abobo and Williams.
According to him/them, the Shopkeeper(s) is/are the father(s) of all the different Shun enemies encountered in the game.
