Superman, also known by its working title Superman: Legacy, is an upcoming superhero film written and directed by James Gunn, centered around a young Superman coming to grips with his Kryptonian heritage and the death of his human father. It will be the first movie set in the DCU, the new shared continuity of DC movies and TV series following the end of the DC Extended Universe. The film will be released in 2025.
