Seperate page for central 46[]

Why don't we have a page on central 46? We have pages for omake based organizations we know very little about (Ikebana Club, Calligraphy Club, etc) that are far less significant and important. We have one about the Spirit King which we know basically nothing about - we're not even sure it's an actual person yet. If there's a reason not to have such a page, please tell me. Otherwise, I'm starting one. WD Converse 16:04, November 15, 2010 (UTC)

I have to agree, we have quite an abundance of information regarding it, more so than any of the omake organizations that you mentioned. They have appeared in the plot enough for them to have a section dedicated to it, and we know about the kinds of influence and structure that they have. I say go for it. Mohrpheus (Talk) 19:35, November 15, 2010 (UTC)

I was actually surprised a couple weeks ago when I found out that we have an article for the Central 46 building and not for the organization. I don't see why we shouldn't have one, I think we have enough info on them to put it together. Lia Schiffer (Talk) 19:44, November 15, 2010 (UTC)

I would agree. Central 46 is one part of Soul Society government and we already have the Gotei 13 as a sepearate page from Soul Society. I think Central 46 has enough info to warrant its own page--God (Pray) 19:48, November 15, 2010 (UTC)

I'm glad y'all are seeing it my way :) I'm gonna start the page with the info I have and the info from the Soul Society page, so please be on the lookout to see if there's anything missing. WD Converse 07:30, November 16, 2010 (UTC)

No objections here. ~~Ууp <talk> 11:24, November 16, 2010 (UTC)

Accuracy[]

I was checking references (something I normally do not do), and I noticed that one of the facts about Soul Society was confirmed by a Bleach movie. Bleach movies are considered to be noncanon (right?), so how do we know this fact to be true? Just need some clearing up here. TechGenusMaster (talk) 22:48, April 2, 2013 (UTC)

Proposal to including Reiōkyū to the soul society page.[]

This is a proposal to include Reiōkyū as a location in the Soul Society page alongside Rukongai and Seireitei. Any remarks? superlogan7437 (talk) 05:21, July 3, 2014 (UTC)

No, Soul Society and the Reiōkyū are completely separate dimensions. Kamikaze839 (Talk To Me!!) 05:23 07/3/2014
explain how its described as a separate dimension if its a dimension within Soul Society.superlogan7437 (talk) 05:26, July 3, 2014 (UTC)
By virtue of it being a separate dimension the Royal Palace doesnt occupy the same space as Soul Society. They are close to each other and the Royal Palace is connected to the Soul Society certainly. But to be apart of Soul Society it would have to be within that space. You can get to one from the other but getting to the Soul Palace isnt remotely easy. If the Soul Palace were within the Seireitei then this would be a different argument and your point would be worth considering, but its not. Your focusing too much on the within and not on the separate. Washington D.C. is connected and apart of the U.S. but its not a state. Its within the U.S. but separate in that its a district controlled by the federal government and not a state. Basically the Soul Palace and Soul Society are connected but are separate spaces, everything included on the Soul Society page are locations depicted directly in Soul Society and not areas connected to Soul Society. If we went by that notion then we should include Hueco Mundo and the Human World as they like the Soul Palace are connected to Soul Society. --Salubri (Chat) 14:01,7/3/2014
Your argument merits physics. In fact, the metaphysics of Reiōkyū's own separate space has nothing to do with Soul Society's, for the fact that the dimension makes for the inner infrastructure of Soul Society itself. The fact of it's a separate dimension is little to argue that its existence is fundamental in keeping Soul Society physically together as a whole. The wiki lists it as somewhere near, if not the core of Soul Society (Seireitei only acts as the center of Soul Society politically) and it's home to the Spirit King whom Urahara said to be the lynchpin (for lack of a better word) that keeps the world intact (if not just Soul Society given the present location at the time storywise). I see no point in not mentioning this location since for these facts Reiōkyū is essential keeping the dimension of Soul Society together, even if remained distant from Soul Society itself. superlogan7437 (talk) 18:38, July 3, 2014 (UTC)
Also the royal palace was only brushed on at first during chapter 223; its role being expanded 296 chapters later.superlogan7437 (talk) 20:00, July 3, 2014 (UTC)
Since you were so kind as to reference the chapter that the palace was first mentioned in, allow me to directly quote page 7 of that chapter:
"This Royal Palace, moreover, is a separate dimension within Soul Society..."[1]
It says right there in the manga that the palace is in its own separate dimension, and because of that, we're not listing it on the page.--Xilinoc (talk) 20:22, July 3, 2014 (UTC)
How old

"Your argument merits physics."

Ok this is Bleach, physics on this level doesn't really apply since the physics of Rangiiku's breasts are completely impossible so moving on!!

"The fact of it's a separate dimension is little to argue that its existence is fundamental in keeping Soul Society physically together as a whole."

You are completely taking words spoken in the series out of context!! Any almighty leader can be considered a lynchpin on their society!! To them it would be like slaying their God or "King" and when revolution and Regicide happens, it throws society into disarray and things change dramatically to how they were before!! Urahara did not state that the Soul Society can not exist without the Palace and when he was speaking those words he was referencing the Spirit King anyhow!!

"I see no point in not mentioning this location since for these facts Reiōkyū is essential keeping the dimension of Soul Society together, even if remained distant from Soul Society itself. "

And I see little point in changing things since you are just making up rules to suit your own end in this!! The Reiōkyū is a separate dimension that is only accessible in a certain number of ways, the way Urahara has to take time to open passageways to Soul Society and Hueco Mundo!! It was stated that it was its own dimension, it may be accessible only from SS but its still been stated that it is its own dimension, not that it is a part of Soul Society that can only be accessed a certain way but its own dimension, called a dimension where the higher ranked people reside!! Honestly you are trying to give new meaning to words that were not meant in the way you stated!! SunXia (Chat) 20:38,7/3/2014

Look and study not just the words but the graphics: http://eatmanga.com/Manga-Scan/Bleach/Bleach-585/page-7; http://eatmanga.com/Manga-Scan/Bleach/Bleach-555/page-7; http://eatmanga.com/Manga-Scan/Bleach/Bleach-585/page-6; http://eatmanga.com/Manga-Scan/Bleach/Bleach-558/page-21; Yhwach even stated that Reiōkyū is separated by 72 barriers high above Seireitei, which is technically in the same space as Soul Society. So far, all I've seen and read in these last 80 chapters disproved these assertions. You can't keep arguing against including it as a location in Soul Society just because Reiōkyū is said to be in a separate dimension and not just being a dimension in of itself (even official translators mistranslate at times). Chapter 223 was released back in 2006, so whats to say Kubo-san didn't have time fleshing it out 300 chapters later? superlogan7437 (talk) 00:58, July 4, 2014 (UTC)

The point that multiple people here are trying to make is that, even if it was released back in 2006, in chapter 223 Yamamoto stated that the Soul King's Palace is a separate dimension. Now, what he said exactly is a bit up for debate. One translation (Mangastream) says it is a separate dimension that exists "within the core" of Soul Society. Another translation (Mangapanda) labels it as a "space further removed" from Soul Society. This would make it either a separate dimension or a separate planet (Bleach hasn't really introduced much in terms of celestial bodies, i.e. nothing). Regardless, even if it's "within the core", it's still a separate dimension. The fact doesn't change that the Palace and Soul Society are different places. Now above all else I'm inclined to have the Translation Corner look at the raw, which has been found. Regardless, everything we have access to seems to point top it being separate in some way, not just sitting within Soul Society behind a few impenetrable walls. Doesn't it concern you that the 72 barriers mentioned in Chapter 585 could be what keeps it a separate dimension from Soul Society? You can't keep claiming the same thing based on one chapter thats been outdated 9 years ago. Now I'm not here to argue the physics of Soul Society, I'm simply trying to keep this wikia up to date as much as possible. Nsuperlogan7437 (talk) 02:27, July 4, 2014 (UTC)
Outdated? Says who? If we are going to disregard details that the series blatantly hands to us just because the chapter came out almost a decade ago, then we had might as well toss out everything. I'll see if the Translation Corner can read the RAW and confirm whether the Reioukyuu is indeed in a separate dimension. There is otherwise no point in letting this discussion go on.
