Redesignation of this list[]
OK. Now that (nearly) all the Characters on this list have their own articles, I think we should change the designation of this list as a list for named Hollows. Specifically I want this because of the Jibakurai thing (Talk:Jibakurai), but there are other significant Hollows, mostly in the anime, who were unnamed and were left out of this list. We do have a List of Tōjū, which lists unnamed characters alongside two named characters. NOTE: I'm not suggesting a list that will contain hundreds of Hollow images with one liners. The guidelines should be that the Hollow in question was at the focus of at least one episode and/or chapter, and that it either played a significant role in the plot or had at least one line of dialog. Here's the way I see things. As far as we know, these Hollows' names are nothing more than the ones that Soul Society gave them to distinguish them from one another (i.e. Grand Fisher, Shrieker). As you said however, Hollows like "Jibakurai" and the Guardian have no such names, yet are pivotal to the plot. I mean, if even Gagamel of all Hollows, gets a mention, then plenty of others deserve to be mentioned as well. But again, the issue comes down to designating the ones that are chosen, and what they should be referred to as. Mohrpheus 06:46, July 20, 2010 (UTC)
I can think of several Hollows I'd like the list to include who were never named: The first is the centipede Hollow that Kon defeats along with Ichigo, another is the Huge hollow that attacks the Shinigami students during their training mission, kills two instructors, rips out Hisagi's eye and later defeated by Gin. That's the type of significance I want. Not any two second doodle who got sliced by Ichigo or shot up by Ishida deserve a spot on the list. If the Hollow had a significant contribution to the plot of the episode/chapter, not to mention the overall story, by all rights it should be included. WD Talk to me 13:52, July 20, 2010 (UTC)
Hisagi still has two eyes. As for the proposal: I have no real desire for one or the other here, but if the page is re-designated, then there would have to be very strict controls & criteria about which Hollows get to be on the list and which don't. The problem is there will be some cases that where one person thinks something is significant and another does not. At the very least, (a) they must be named in the story/databooks, (b) simple, accurate & descriptive titles must be used for the unnamed ones (c) have a significant contribution to the story/last for a significant amount of time. I'd like to hear more opinions on this before anything is changed. ~~Ууp <talk> 19:19, July 21, 2010 (UTC)
