Kenpachi Space Slicing[]
I believe it is misleading that Nozarashi is written to be able to "cut through even space itself". It clearly cannot as seen in the scene, where the only thing that we see getting cut is Gremmys clone. Kenpachi broke out of the void himself (probably in a similar manner to how Ulquiorra broke out of the Caja Negacion) which you can see from the way he forces the small hole open with his hand. The hole Kenpachi broke free from does not even remotely look like it has been slashed open, especially considering Nozarashis incredible cutting power.
I understand Kenpachi made his bold claim that he could cut through anything with Nozarashi, but that was proven oh-so-wrong when he could only chip Hoffnung. So I doubt he could cut through something without form when he cannot even cut through something with form.
Another reason is that this so-called ability to "cut through space" was never ever used or even alluded to after this event, suggesting such an ability does not exist. If it did, I am sure he would have used it against Pernida or Gerard.

Shunpo skill[]
Say, is it certain that Kenpachi cannot do Shunpo? I'm asking because, during the fight with Gerard Valkyrie, Kenpachi appeared there mere moments after getting out of Mayuri's healing tank, whcih was quite the distance away. Ikkaku and Yumichika were even shocked that Kenpachi got there before they did. I think it's safe to say Kenpachi can at least do some form of Shunpo by the end, what do you think? 11th or 2nd Kenpachi?[]
I know Zaraki was officially stated to be the 11th Kenpachi, due to him slaying the 10th Kenpachi, but considering the First Kenpachi was never actually killed in battle until Zaraki did it, doesn't that make him the actual 2nd Kenpachi by default? I mean, we don't know how the former 2nd Kenpachi got that position, but I think it's worth noting that Zaraki may be the true 2nd Kenpachi after all. Timjer (talk) 19:47, 9 August 2021 (UTC)
- I've thought about this a couple times and that's possible, but until he's explicitly specified/identified as such in a databook or future chapter, we only have "11th Kenpachi" as a citable/sourceable title for him.--Xilinoc (talk) 20:42, 9 August 2021 (UTC)
Kenpachi Bankai Face Markings[]
Bruh Kenpachi's face in Bankai doesn't have "multiple black markings".. that's just Kubo enhancing the shadows from underneath his horns and pronounced cheekbones.. I remember when the black markings edit was removed and corrected during the time his Bankai was first revealed.. Who added the black marking mistake back? Come on guys, pay attention 🤦♂️🤦♂️
But anyway as you can clearly see from the image below, both from the same chapter, that he clearly has no black markings as shown from the image on the right; after slashing Gerard and even from the Brave Souls game. Pridecat4 (talk)
- Oh good, I see that we've finally got a topic other than 4-chapter Arrancar and single-use techniques for people to passive-aggressively jab and/or yell at us for: facial markings. Y'know, it's entirely possibly to present a point like this as "hey, I think I found evidence contradicting something on the page, can we change it?" but clearly your ego is influencing this more than any actual desire to help/improve the wiki. Typical for a random user coming in to boss us around, I guess. Age within the anime is now somewhat disputed.[]
It seems that the anime has retconned Kenpachi's first fight with Unohana to have happened several hundred years ago, rather than before the first Quincy invasion (which would've been 1,000 years ago, by all counts), despite the scar being present then. I'm inclined to believe the inclusion of the scar in episode 373 was actually a mistake, and would be willing to revert the age change. Gold3263301 (talk) 00:04, 13 December 2022 (UTC)
Speed change[]
Not wanting to be blocked, I want to bring this up. Zaraki should be changed from "Enhanced Speed" to "Immense Speed". The fact is before he had Shunpo, he already moved at similar speeds with sheer leg strength, and other characters like White are listed in the same manner.Steveo920 (talk) 00:05, 22 December 2022 (UTC)
