Gran Caida[]

I know it has been said in a previous discussion that his Gran Caida is a more elaborate battleaxe, but doesn't it fit more the profile of a halberd? A halberd is a pole-arm consists of an axe blade topped with a spike mounted on a long shaft, which very fits the Gran Caida appearance. Yatanogarasu (talk) 06:26, July 30, 2014 (UTC)

While I see what you mean, I think it is a better fit as it is now. Gran Caida has an axe head on both sides, whereas a halberd has it on one side only with a hook/spike on the other side. Also the central spike protrudes much further beyond the axe head on a halberd than it seems to on Gran Caida. So I'd say it is best left as it is. ~~Ууp <talk> 13:25, August 10, 2014 (UTC)

Past Tense[]

Shouldn't the introduction be in past tense, like this?

Baraggan Louisenbairn (バラガン・ルイゼンバーン, Baragan Ruizenbān) was an Arrancar in Sōsuke Aizen's army and the Segunda (2nd) Espada. Also the former God-King of Hueco Mundo.

The general rule on here is that we only use past tense in the opening paragraph if 1. the character died in a flashback taking place before the series began (e.g. Miyako Shiba) or 2. if they once held a position, such as Espada #6, then lost/abandoned/were promoted from it during the course of the storyline (e.g. Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez). Most of the dead Espada/Arrancar don't fall into that category, so it's all present tense for them. Hope that helps.--Xilinoc (talk) 06:17, June 28, 2019 (UTC)

Namesake[]

Who is he named after? I heard Arrancar are all named after architects or designers, and I can't find any architects named Nnoitra, Ulquiorra, Baraggan or RudbornnTokoyami no Nietzsche (talk) 16:38, May 11, 2020 (UTC)
