Sandanme: Dangyo no Fuchi (三段目 断魚淵, Act the Third: The Severing Abyss; Viz "Act Three: The Abyss") is a technique of Shunsui Kyōraku's Bankai, Katen Kyōkotsu: Karamatsu Shinjū.
Description[]
A massive amount of water engulfs both Shunsui and his opponent, who remain within it until one of them runs out of Reiatsu and drowns.[1] The body of water is inescapable; attempting to swim toward the surface will only result in being pushed further down.[2]
Shunsui poetically describes this technique as "Resigning themselves to their fate, the two hurl themselves into the gushing waters until no Reiatsu remains in their bodies."[1]
