"Daruma-san ga Koronda is a game where whoever’s "it" has to cover their eyes and recite a phrase then they turn around and capture anyone who moves. There are three main rules. 1) Whoever is "it" has to stay in a location where all the participants can see them. 2) The participants lose if the person who’s "it" sees them moving. 3) The participants win if they can touch the person who’s "it" before he sees them." |
Daruma-san ga Koronda (だるまさん が ころんだ, The Dharma Doll Fell Down; Viz "Bodhidharma Falls Down") is a technique of Shunsui Kyōraku's Shikai, Katen Kyōkotsu.
Description[]
After Shunsui or his opponent is marked as being "it" while being in a position where others can see them, the other combatant travels toward them on a trail of Reiatsu left by their attack in order to attack and catch them by surprise. However, if the combatant who is "it" sees their opponent while they are moving, that opponent loses and thus dies. The game this technique represents is Daruma-san ga Koronda, a children's game similar to red-light green-light.[1]
