Star wars battlefront 2 crashes on startup

The game crashes on startup, it just opens up in windowed mode with a black screen and then closes after a while. I have the game on epic games, reinstalled it multiple times, reinstalled epic games, and reinstalled Origin. This process is incredibly lengthy and frustrating so I'm not going to do that again.
I tried running it in compatibility mode with every possible Windows version with and without administrator privileges [for each windows version]
I don't have any side processes running including Discord. All possible overlays have been disabled including windows xbox game overlay, and EA overlay.

I'm using the latest Nvidia drivers (I'm not going to roll anything back because other games require the latest drivers)
Tried opening it through frosty mod manager, not working.
BF V is working, 2042 is working, every other game that I ever had on my PC is working.
These steps should help:
- In the EA app, click on the game and then Manage, Repair
- Make sure your display is connected to your GPU and not the motherboard video output
