What era has inspired your outfit? Reputation of course! What song are you most excited to see? I hope she doesn’t play ‘London Boy’. I’d really love ‘Death by a Thousand Cuts’ to be the secret song tonight. Why do you think Taylor’s fans take these concerts as an opportunity to dress up? The fandom always creates a comfortable space. I am a regular visitor to ‘Swiftogeddon’, a club night run by fans, for fans to come together to listen to, discuss and celebrate Taylor. Everyone is always so complimentary, which makes you feel confident to wear whatever you like. -

What era has inspired your outfit? An outfit Taylor wore during her 2013 ‘The Red Tour’ when she was performing a song called ‘The Lucky One’. Have you seen Taylor before? I saw her two weeks ago in Edinburgh, as well as twice this weekend in London. What song are you most excited to hear? I would say the surprise song, because that is something that makes this tour extra special. In Edinburgh she played my all-time favourite song, ‘Crazier’, which she has never played live before. Tonight I am hoping for ‘The Black Dog’ from The Tortured Poets Department. -

Where have you travelled from today? I am here with my wife and two of my daughters. We are originally from New York, but currently living in Spain, where I work as an anaesthesiologist. The main purpose for us coming to London was to see this show. Are you a big fan? I like her music. I think she is a clever song writer and I’ve listened to her for years through my children, but it is them that are the real fans. My girls haven’t been to many concerts before, it is something we wanted to experience together as a family. -

What era has inspired your outfit? I have an online vintage business called ‘Briar-Rose’s Folklore’, inspired by my favourite Taylor Swift album. I added the black trim and painted the song title ‘But Daddy I Love Him’ on to the front of this vintage dress. It is one of my favourite songs from the new album. What song are you most excited to hear? ‘Champagne Problems’ from Folklore. I have my favourite lyrics sewed on to the end of my hand-dyed veil: “What a shame she’s fucked in the head.” I’ll be crying when she performs that one. -

Where have you travelled from today? Malaysia. I was lucky enough to see her during the Singapore Tour, but my friend asked me to come and see her again in London and the only answer could be yes! What song are you most excited to hear? I would probably say ‘Enchanted’. The dress she wears on tour when performing the Speak Now era is what inspired my outfit today. Why do you think so many fans travel the world to see her? She doesn’t expect this of us, we do it because we want to. I became a fan because of the music, but I stay because of her and how she makes me feel. -

Where have you travelled from today? We’ve come from New York City to see the show with our daughters. How long have you been fans? We have been fans for about three years but our daughters around 10 years. What songs are you most excited to hear? ‘The Man’, ‘Anti-Hero’ and ‘Lover’. Why do you think a lot of the fans have been wearing the Travis Kelce jersey to the show? People are in love with the Travis and Taylor love story. American football is huge for us and when Kansas City won the Super Bowl, she was there watching him which was an incredible moment. -

What era has inspired your outfit? It is the Folklore era and a very specific song in particular... ‘Mirror Ball’. What song would you love her to perform as the secret song tonight? Florida!!! from the The Tortured Poets Department. I’ve been trying to manifest her bringing out Florence and the Machine to perform this one tonight. -

What era has inspired your outfit? A look Taylor wore on her 1989 tour in 2014. What secret song would you love to see her perform tonight? ‘False God’ from Lover. How you seen the show before? Yes, I saw her in Edinburgh a couple of weeks ago. Why do you think Taylor’s fans take these concerts as an opportunity to dress up? The Swiftie fandom is a family – everyone is always building one another up. Even when I don’t have a ticket for a show, I’m still going to dress up and travel down to the area where it’s happening to be part of the community. -

What era has inspired your outfits? The ‘Midnights’ album. The arrows on our heads point down to our favourite line from the song ‘Anti-Hero’. The full lyric reads: ‘It’s me, hi, I’m the problem, it’s me’. What song are you most excited to see? We are both really excited for the surprise song. To play a different song at each individual show across the world is something not many artists would go to the effort to do. -

Who are you here with today? I am here to see the show with my daughter. Would you say you are a fan? Yes, I definitely would. I’ve been a fan since she released her 1989 album – that is my favourite. What inspired your outfit this evening? Well I knew that the majority of people here would be in glittery and sparkly clothes, so I thought I would embrace it and join in the fun for a change. What song are you most excited to hear tonight? I don’t have a particular preference, I’m just looking forward to them all. -
Nicole, 30
Where have you travelled from today? Atlanta, Georgia. It is my 30th birthday and I’ve been a Swiftie for 18 years, so I wanted to celebrate this mile stone with Taylor. What era has inspired your outfits? The bodysuit is from Etsy and is an ode to what she wears when performing the Lover era on this tour. My best friend made me this giant friendship bracelet as birthday banner. What song are you most excited to hear? Probably the entire Tortured Poets Department set, as that album hadn’t been released when we saw her on this tour in Nashville. -
Chris, 30
What era has inspired your outfit? Tonight I’ve come dressed in a look she wore on The Red Tour. Did you customise it yourself? Yes, there were four to six hours of bedazzling involved to cover the logo in these crystals. What songs are you most excited to hear tonight? ‘Miss Americana & the Heartbreak Prince’. As the secret song, I’d love her to perform ‘Sparks Fly’ from Speak Now. -

What era has inspired your outfits? The green capes have been inspired by Folklore and the black bowler hat and logo T-shirt by Red. What songs are you most excited to hear? ‘Cruel Summer’, ‘Betty’ and ‘Cardigan’. Why do you think there are so many families here today? Her music and message cover all age groups. You could be 90 or nine and know who Taylor Swift is. She has such a wide range of musical styles from folk and country to classic pop. Her songs speak of real human experience, which can feel relatable to anyone no matter your age or gender. -
Monique, 28
What song are you most excited to hear? ‘The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived’ from her newest album, because me ex just cheated on me so I can relate hard. I can’t wait to scream the lyrics to that one! Why do you think Taylor’s fans take these concerts as an opportunity to dress up? I think being part of this fandom is a really magical thing and everyone wants a piece of that. I’ve been a fan for what feels like a really long time, since the Fearless era in 2009, but you never feel too old to dress up. -
Emily, 18
What era has inspired your outfits? Definitely the Red album. What song would you love her to perform as the secret song tonight? ‘New Romantics’. Why do you think Taylor’s fans take these concerts as an opportunity to dress up? Coming into this community you just feel so safe. I’ve been to a bunch of shows at Wembley and no other fan base seems to go to this much effort. I saw the Weeknd here last year and he’s amazing, but none of his fans are painting murals or giving friendship bracelets to the police. -
Paul and Katy
What eras have inspired your outfits? My dad has come as Reputation and I have come as Red, although I did ask him to swap hats with me because I like this pink one better. Tell me about your bracelets? People make them with the title of their favourite song or favourite lyrics. We have bought a few but I made most of them myself. I’m so excited to make friends and swap bracelets with people tonight. When I went to watch a screening of the Eras Tour movie, two girls I was dancing with gave me the ‘Enchanted’ and ‘Delicate’ ones I’m wearing tonight. -

Dave, 30
What era has inspired your outfit? Reputation. What song are you most excited to see? Anything from Reputation, especially ‘Delicate’. Why do you think Taylor’s fans love to dress up? I took the opportunity to create something special to wear because it makes me feel like I am part of the show, a part of a really incredible moment in history. Dressing up like this makes us all feel closer to her. Why do you think she has such a large LGBTQIA+ following? Her songs speak truth, truth to all human experience no matter where you come from or who you are. -
Hayley, 23
What era has inspired your outfit? The Lover era. What song would you love her to perform as the secret song tonight? I have actually somehow managed to avoid seeing the full tour set list, because I want it to be a surprise. Why do you think Taylor’s fans take these concerts as an opportunity to dress up? Young women seem to get bashed a lot for getting excited about something like this. It feels really powerful to collectively reject that here in our thousands. It is no different to men dressing up in unity for a football game.
