Carnabrawl is platform fighter, inspired by the likes of Super Smash Bros and Brawllhalla, that takes place in the chaos of a carnival parade. Choose your fighter and try to push the oponent into the happily chaotic crowd that passes under the platforms in the streets of the city!
Hello!
Here we have some models done for the enviroment and game level, as well as some images to show what was our main inspiration in this!
This is the main inspiration for our level layout in the game. These buildings are from the portuguese city of Leiria, and we'll use their leyout for the setting of our game level, the players will fight on the balconies of the structure!
This is the first level structure that we made, it is the front face of the "Mercado" shown in the middle of the previous image, we tried to give it some nice detail while not getting too overly complex in the process.
In this next part we added that top part to the middle of the model and also gave a curvature to make it more dynamic with the camera.
Then, we made this model to be placed on the side of the level and serve for a more pleasing compisition, as well as a place for the side platforms!
Here we tied the two models together on Unreal Engine 5 to see how the level would look like with the current models that we have, we'll still adjust the size of the platforms and colour the level with texture to make them more visible as well, but we've overall liked the look of it. All of these models were made in Blender.
Later this week we'll be back with more updates on the project, so stay tunned!
Thank you and bye!
