Today we ant to share some of the animation concept sketches we've made for the characters, we'll show show the sketches and also tell you where we got the inspiration for their style!
For the Midnight Man we want something that could make him feel more like a he's a bigger guy, with wider moves, so he uses his umbrella similarly to how a repier or spear would be used.
One of the main inspirations for his attacks is the umbrella weapon from Lies of P.
For the venetian our goal is to make her feel quicker and more agile, as well as a bit classy, so we want to make her have quicker moves and attacks with her fans.
One of the main inspirations for her attacks is Kitana from Mortal Kombat.
