I was fortunate enough to be invited to speak on a panel a couple of weeks ago, in Cannes, regarding marketing in the context of live sports. I joked that they put the guy who's least likely to watch televised sports on the panel around televised sports. Regardless, I recognize that live sports represents a massive and compelling opportunity for digital marketers to reach highly engaged audiences in a moment when they're very receptive to a good story.
