Yup. Jak 2's just as good as 3, and the first game is a pretty different style so the collection will have some variety to it.

I played Daxter on the PSP, which was actually pretty cool, but it was no Jak 2 or 3.

I got Sacred II from Gamefly. It's decent for co-op, looks like a massive game.

Hey K-G, what kind of music do you listen to? My interest in music goes up and down, and I've just recently been getting back into it again. I'm willing to check out most types, I typically enjoy some things from even my less liked genres. [face_tongue]

I listen to all kinds of music. Rap, Rock, Metal, J-pop, J-Rock, you name it. [face_tongue] Not too much country but there are some country songs that catch my ear like the song they play for the intro to that Sons of Guns show I was like, "wow, that country song is pretty tight...nice beat." [face_tongue]

I listen mostly to Rock, Alternative, Metal, and some of the catchy hip hop stuff. [face_tongue] Some rap and country on the side. I'm looking around for some bands to check out.

Twisted Metal multiplayer demo is out tomorrow. Gotta check that one out.

I haven't seen to many new groups I've liked. I've been listening to my old Sevendust albums. [face_tongue]

Twisted Metal huh? [face_thinking] I was more of a Vigilante 8 guy back in the day. [face_tongue]

I had a lot of fun with Twisted Metal 2. I don't know what to think of this new one, so a demo is appreciated.

And that new movie Chronicle looks promising.

I'm getting Contagion and Apollo 18 tomorrow. I expect the former to be pretty good, and the latter to be terrible.

Got the Twisted Metal demo. Won't let me into a multiplayer match right now, but I did a single player match and it seemed fun. [face_tongue]

Yeah Apollo 18 looked terrible. Apollo 13 all the way. [face_tongue]

I almost bought Soul Calibur 5 yesterday when I went to pick up my Final Fantasy XIII-2 but then me and the guy and Gamestop started talking about BlazBlue and that killed the urge to buy it. [face_tongue]

I forgot to check the Playstation store yesterday. [face_tongue]

Soulcalibur V doesn't seem to be getting a lot of love, may have been the right choice.

I just hope Apollo 18 is stupid enough to love. [face_tongue]

For me it's just coming out at a bad time. Blazblue drops in 2 weeks so that would immediately take me away from Soul Calibur, not to mention it dropped the same day as XIII-2. [face_tongue] I've heard mixed reviews of it so far myself. [face_tongue]

Well I'm hoping Apollo 18 doesn't disappoint. [face_tongue]

Apollo 18 was better than I thought it would be. Not great of course, but decent with pacing and a couple cool suspense moments.

Finally got to play Twisted Metal online. It's awesome! So much carnage. [face_tongue]

Also glad you enjoyed Twisted Metal. [face_tongue]

Everytime I think I'm done with thinking about getting Soul Calibur 5 I see a video and I'll be like [face_thinking] then people keep asking me if I'm getting it. [face_tongue]

I know what you mean. That happened to me for Battlefield 3. I was thinking "I'm done with military FPS for now" but then friends kept talking about it. I eventually got it, but only because it was a Black Friday deal. [face_tongue]

I've been in the mood to play a little Rock Band for the first time in a while. Never bought the third one, but I do have a good amount of songs for the second. But I'd have to go searching in my closet for the guitar, so I don't know. [face_tongue]

Contagion's a good movie. It seems like something that could realistically happen.

I'm not good at the drumming, mostly because of the foot pedal. Also I got the Guitar Hero drums and the sensitivity's all messed up on them. [face_tongue]

I'm not good at guitar, mostly because of that damn orange button I can only play medium on guitar and struggle through some songs on hard. [face_tongue] On drums I mainly play on hard and occasionally expert on some songs. [face_tongue]

Ahmad Bradshaw (scored the winning touchdown... on accident) went to my high school. He's been so lucky, winning two Super Bowls during just five years in the league.

I want to see Chronicle. I was busy though (but half of that business was a day of Sacred 2 with my neighbor, still counts).

Might be able to check it out next weekend.

True. And the actor did a good job in The Social Network.

I just hope it doesn't feel too redundant since the last first one wasn't too long ago. [face_tongue]

I still think it's too early. It's like they took a nod from all the horror remakes coming out and said, "Oh yeah, we can do that, but way faster!" I just hope way better too, lol

I put in Rock Band 2. I'm probably gonna be so rusty at it. [face_tongue]

Haven't posted in a few days because my computer screen went and stopped working on me. :(

Had to borrow my sister's laptop to do a few things.

Played through and 100%'d Jak and Daxter. It's shorter and easier than I remembered. [face_tongue]

It was probably the most I've gotten in a few months. [face_tongue]

About 2/3 through Jak II, it's still pretty darn hard in some spots. Having to stay back on a thin pier and wait for a group of enemies to spawn because going forward would cause their dropship to destroy you, while several other (possibly infinitely spawning) groups charge you from behind, but falling into the water is instant death... with no health packs in sight. Screw you, Naughty Dog! [face_angry]

It does seem like I'm dying less than before, and I've only been stuck on a few levels for half an hour or so that I would have to give up on for the day last time I played. So either I'm doing better or I'm persevering more. [face_tongue]

Played some Rock Band 2 again when my friend came over. Getting back into the groove of things, though I've only played the easier songs since I have to unlock everything again on this new PS3.

New Walking Dead is on tonight, I hear. I have to catch the marathon on today since I missed three or four of the last episodes.

It's a pretty cool show. Pretty unique for a TV series I guess, even though zombies have been a craze for games lately. It's got a lot of drama going on for it (sometimes a little too much), but overall it's satisfying to watch.
