So Jackie Bradley Jr. has:

 • The worst OPS in the majors (min 100 ABs)
 • Dead last in Slugging
 • 2nd worst batting average
 • 4th worst OBP
 • Has been uncharacteristically bad in the outfield.
He's currently on pace for -7 WAR. I know he's been a very streaky player ever since his debut but yikes.

Indians are fucking cooked. Championship windows close so damn fast.
The sad part is that it was practically by design - Cleveland slashed its payroll by nearly 15% this year. Injuries don't help, nor does Jose Ramirez forgetting how to hit, but they would almost certainly be in better shape right now if they had, ya know, invested in the team.

Jeff Bridich: I’m mad that these DORKS who never PLAYED the game would question my decisions. Stick to video games, DORKS.

So I've been on vacation for the last week.

With Pedroia basically announcing he's unable to play baseball anymore all I gotta say is Fuck Machado

Currently in a losing streak
Odubel is a fucking moron
Everyone in the bullpen is either injured or unreliable
Starting pitching can't stop giving up home runs
And now McCutchen out for the year

Oh joy, another <.500 season.

Yo I just realized something. Back in the days of IGNMLB’s most recent attempt, I traded a random prospect to @NBAman619 in exchange for Ryan Flaherty because I needed a utility bench infielder. I remember getting flamed for it at the time, but not caring because there was little chance the prospect was going to develop into anything.

Who was that prospect, you ask?

tim anderson was a first round pick, not exactly a random prospect

also, assuming i would have been able to assemble any type of pitching staff whatsoever my team would be so good

c: tyler flowers
1b: carlos santana
2b: carlos correa
ss: marcus semien
3b: anthony rendon
lf: clint fraizer
cf: joey gallo (!)
rf: christian yelich
dh: shin soo choo

justin turner would be stuck as a utility player

according to the old lineup optimizer tool that team would be good for over 1100 runs scored lol. just need chris sale to pitch every inning of every game.

In my eyes he was a random prospect, mostly because he was like 3-4 years away and I knew the league wouldn’t last that long lol

I've been very frustrated with Cleveland this year. It took them months to call up Mercado, when he looked like our best outfielder in spring training.

Now, they're refusing to call up Bradley, who I'm pretty confident would produce runs. Even if he strikes out a bunch, he'd probably still offer more than Bauers who is striking out a ton and producing nothing.

lucas giolito had his worst start in 6 weeks and only gave up one run

eloy owns the yankees and barring an implosion the white sox are about to be .500

pretty good

Things seem to be going well for the Mets. Vargas has to be suspended, right?

here's a hot take

giolito can't even handle the cross-town series and he's going to melt down if the white sox ever do make a playoff series

The Reds can win the Central.
Tough close to the 1st half tho.

Nice run by them to pull within 6.5 of Minny however. I thought they were cooked.
Hoping Carrasco gets well soon and pulls a Roman Reigns like recovery.
