So one day in and it's already obvious that they brought the juiced balls back, right?

That Christian Yelich guy is a pretty good.

4 Homers (1 in each of the first 4 games) and the game winning, 2 run double in the 9th inning against the Cardinals.....not bad.

Yeah, this guy is pretty good!

Two $17M options at the back of the Acuna contract? He needs to fire his agent - but it's too late for that now.

if yoan moncada continues his 22.7 fWAR pace this year i would say that bodes well for his development

On-pace numbers are bullshit, but I can't help but love this. At his current pace, Mike Trout will produce the following:

.367/.574/.933, 74 HR, 177 RBI, 191 BB, 59 K, 17.7 WAR

So ... peak Barry Bonds with Gold Glove defense in CF.

Absolutely pathetic deal for Albies. Two $7M options on the back of that 7/35.

The only logical conclusion is that he has secretly been diagnosed with a terminal disease and only has a year or two left to live.

Or that the owners have finally after 50 years broken the back of the MLBPA and a strike is the only thing that can save it.

If you're the Cardinals, why even bother pitching to Christian Yelich?

The guy OWNS them. Including tonight and last night's game, he has hit 4 homers and driven 10 against them. And even crazier is that all but 1 of his total homerun count thus far has come against the Cardinals in 6 games against them.

You know what's one upside about the Red Sox not doing so well?

I can get tickets for about $15 like a day or two before a game. (Last year was close to 60... even like an hour before 1st pitch)
