I can't shake the feeling that Anthem is just going to BioWare's Destiny. Cool idea that doesn't deliver on anything. I hope it's good but I'm not holding my breath.

I didn't hear about Laidlaw leaving though. That sucks. A lot of the talent is leaving BioWare.

Haha at least the guy who gave us the Mass Effect 3 ending is now back and leading the company HAHA :'D

I mean, a year later Destiny 1 actually became an authentic good game that was hella-fun to play. It just wasn't what was released at launch and required a year of trial&error to get to that point. Annoyingly enough, they decided to make Destiny 2 a true back-to-new game of problems instead of learning their lessons from 3 years of remodelling the first game but oh well at least I can play the raid again for a shitty shader consumable and tokens!!

Oh yeah hi guys. Wish Andromeda was better but I thought it was overall fun. Liam's loyalty mission was Bioware's most well-produced and paced mission in any of their ip's, fight me.

I loved Liam's loyalty mission. It was so much fun. I about died laughing with the Star Wars reference with Ryder saying "Uh, everything is fine... How are you?"

Happy Ten Year Anniversary to Mass Effect. Hard to believe that it's already been a decade. Here's to hoping for another decade in the Mass Effect universe.

So, did EA kill Bioware or did people like @ThatGuySien insisting that DA2 was a good game, giving the publisher reason to believe they'd done nothing wrong, kill Bioware?

Probably a little of both. It's like after ME3 came out and there were articles saying people who didn't like the ending were entitled. ???

A-team BioWare's last game was Inquisition, which was definitely solid though. Now that Casey "SPACE WIZARD" Hudson is back I don't really have faith that we'll ever get another proper single player RPG from them though, just more games a service in the form of Anthem and its inevitable years of nickel and diming DLC.

What I liked about the original trilogy was that Shepard's crew was intellectuals.
-Miranda was built to be a genius. The weird assassin dude was highly intelligent asthete. the Salarian was the smartest alien in the whole galaxy and so on.

In MEA we have totally different crew; bunch of immature morons on a adrenaline trip. Whee!!!

Oh! I found a totally new (to me) side mission in MEA today!
-I kept following on Liam's movie night storyline, and it culminated in a cool raid on a pirate ship. Real old skool ME shootout. Nice.

There's lot of that in MEA. You keep digging and you find many golden side missions.

Yeah, Liam's loyalty mission is definitely one of the most fun missions in the series.

I liked Cora for the most part. She was a little too over the top with her Asari obsession. There was a few times I wanted some dialogue that said, "You know you're NOT an Asari, right?" but other than that she was cool. Has a great rack and booty too. Ha!

Yeah, I will admit the female characters other Vetra aren't as interesting or in depth as most in the original trilogy. Miranda, Jack, Samara, Kasumi, Tali, Liara, and even Ashley had more depth.

Anybody still around?

What's everybody thinkin about Anthem so far? What I've seen at E3 looks decent, and I'm happy that they've said it can be played completely solo if you want. I have continued to try and keep a positive outlook on the company that I've loved for so long, but I admit, it's been getting very difficult to not be very skeptical of the things they are doing going forward.

I'm here. Still check every once in a while. Anthem looks good. I definitely want to play it. I still love Bioware. It's EA I don't trust. I just hope that things start turning around soon.

I don't care for FP either, but there have been exceptions. Like Fallout 3 & 4. I enjoy both of those. You can toggle between FP & 3P in those, but I found myself actually preferring FP instead. But other than that, nope. Not a fan. So we'll see if this one wins me over.

Yeah, I still gotta pick up Spider-man and Shadow of the Tomb Raider. Been slackin on some new games lately and just been playin old ones, but I'll get there.. Def seem to be hearin good things though.

The trilogy ending and board migration really did a number on this place. Shame Andromeda didn't breathe more life back but Andromeda was pretty shameful sooo. [face_mischief]

Nah. But Liam, Cora & Peebee are optional. Lol! They have some fans, but definitely not enough to warrant being mandatory returns. If you want I can send it to you too Astus. But it's very extensive. Ask Viking.
