Rainbow Six Siege Operation New Blood Details
Operation New Blood has arrived within Rainbow Six Siege, bringing two new Operators and new Gadgets, along with a handful of new features, balance updates, and more!

Operator Balancing
- Fenrir
- Now has 4 F-NATT Dread Mines, 2 tickets to activate mines, and the mines aren't bulletproof anymore
- Barbed Wire has been replaced with Observation Blocker
- Tickets for mines are recovered when a mine is destroyed or deactivated
- Solis
- SPEC-IO Electro Sensor is unavailable during prep phase
- Duration of the sensor has been reduced to 10 seconds
- Detection range of the sensor has been set to 12 meters
- Sensor must be at full charge to use it
- Impact Grenades have been replaced with Proximity Alarm
Playlist Update
Standard Map Filters have been added, and allow some agency in terms of map selection when playing Standard. The filters are:
- Ranked Map Pool (all maps currently in the Ranked Map Pool)
- Non-Ranked Map Pool (all maps currently not in the Ranked Map Pool)
- All Maps (all maps in the Ranked and Non-Ranked Map Pool)
Attrition
Attrition is returning as an LTM. Once an Operator is chosen in this mode, it's locked for both teams for the match. This means team comps will be very out of the ordinary, and players will have to adapt on the fly.
Attrition will be live in-game from June 18th to July 2nd, 2024.
Map Updates
Both Stadium Alpha and Stadium Bravo have received some QoL updates that make them more competitive, including:
- Bulletproof glass has been removed
- Layout and destructibilty of the environment has been altered
Changes & Bug Fixes
Detailed Weapon Stats
- The Accurate Weapon Stats are divided into 4 categories:
- Firepower breaks down damage of the weapon at different distances and shows the weapon's capability for destruction.
- Accuracy displays the difficulty to control the weapon while firing, the hip fire accuracy, the recoil and spread pattern, and the time it takes to aim down the sights.
- Ammo breaks down the size of the magazine, the max capacity for bullets, and the reload speed for each weapon.
- Mobility displays the speed of the Operator while using the weapon
Rappel Improvements
- Rappel can now be entered by holding the input when walking or sprinting when close to a rappel point.
- While holding the rappel input and sprinting towards a rappel point, you can enter rappel from further away.
- Drones can be picked up while in rappel
Visual Filters
- Color saturation while using Observation Tools now indicates how much control you have over it.
- Full color means full control.
- Desaturated color means partial control.
- Black and white means you have no control
Shooting Range Updates
- Weapon properties are displayed as follow for each lane:
- Recoil Lane
- Accuracy: Recoil or Spread Pattern, ADS Time, Control Difficulty and Hip Accuracy
- Ammo: Magazine, Max capacity and Reload Speed
- Mobility: Run Speed Modifier
- Damage Lane
- Firepower: Damage, Fire Rate and Destruction
- Ammo: Magazine, Max capacity and Reload Speed
- Mobility: Run Speed Modifier
- Recoil Lane
