Classes
There are four Hunter Classes in Evolve, and each must work together with the other classes to take down the monster. Each class has a very different play-style, and all are just as important as the next.
All four classes have their own special ability that the three Hunters in that class share, in addition to their own unique abilities and weapons. So far, eight out of twelve characters have been revealed. Click on a class or character to learn more about their unique load outs.

Hunter Tips and Tricks
- Stick together! The monster can be a huge threat to one or two hunters - even during early stages. The wildlife can also become very threatening very fast, and pin down and kill a lone hunter. If you decide to split up, make sure to stay relatively close to each other remain in constant communication. New players should never stray from the group until you have a good sense of the map and how to play.

- Conserve your fuel! Every hunter has a jetpack that will allow them to scale cliffs and walls. However, the jetpack has limited fuel, so make sure you have enough if you need to climb a tall building or a cliff, and always have a bit for when tracking or fighting the monster!
- Don't waste all your time killing the wildlife. Killing wildlife doesn't help Hunters (except for buffs gained by killing elite wildlife), and you'll be providing the monster with free corpses to feed on! If you must kill wildlife, keep an eye on the bodies or lay traps for the monster.
- Don't always engage the monster upon spotting it. Make sure everybody is ready to engage, especially the trapper. He needs to deploy his mobile arena in order for the fight to start and it has limited range. If you fire too quickly, the monster can quickly outpace the hunters.
- Try to aim for the head and weak spots! Head shots deal 2x damage to the monster. Your medic will create weak spots on the monster with his sniper rifle. hit those for 2x (if shot by Val) or 1.5X (if shot by Lazarus) bonus damage damage. Weak spots on the head increase damage by 3X (by Val) and by 2.5x (by Lazarus).
