All Shrine Locations and Solutions
Hidden within the regions of Dredge are glowing red rock slab puzzles that each have a specific request for certain fish. Upon placing the requested fish in the rock slab Shrine, you'll have completed the Shrine's request and will be rewarded with a piece of equipment.
These glowing Shrines are very useful, as they often allow you to be ahead of the game when it comes to fishing types, so completing these as soon as possible is highly recommended!

The Marrows Shrine
- Shrine Location: J9
- Shrine Request: Any Five Curved Fish
- Reward: Tap to Reveal
The Marrows Shrine can be found at J9, just north of Greater Marrow. The Shrine will ask for Any Five Curved Fish to be placed inside. For this, we recommend Cod as it's abundant and easy to find in The Marrows region.
Once you arrange the five Cod in the shrine, you'll be rewarded with the Sinew Spindle, which is a 1x2 Fishing Rod that allows for Coastal and Shallow fishing. The Sinew Spindle fishing rod is very useful in the early stages of the game.
Gale Cliffs Shrine
- Shrine Location: P3
- Shrine Request: 1 Decorator Crab and 2 Rock Crabs
- Reward: Tap to Reveal
The Gale Cliffs Shrine can be found at P3, in the southeast corner of Gale Cliffs. The Shrine will ask for Crabs to be placed inside. Due to the shape, you're required to place one Decorator Crab and two Rock Crabs, which can be found in the Gale Cliffs region using any crab pot.
Once the crabs are arranged, you'll be rewarded with the Mouth of the Deep, which is a very useful Crab Pot that lasts for a whopping 12 days at a time, with a 6x6 size and an average yield of 3 per day, making this useful in any stage of the game when you're Pot fishing.
Stellar Basin Shrine
- Shrine Location: H2
- Shrine Request: 1 Hammerhead Shark, 1 Bronze Whaler, 1 Blacktip Reef Shark, and 1 Ghost Shark
- Reward: Tap to Reveal
The Stellar Basin Shrine can be found at H2, in the southeast corner of Gale Cliffs. The Shrine will ask for different types of Sharks to be placed inside. This will be the first Altar that asks you to get multiple fish from different regions. You'll need 1 Hammerhead Shark, which you can get in Stellar Basin, 1 Bronze Whaler, and 1 Blacktip Reef Shark, which can be found in The Marrows at day and night respectively, and lastly, 1 Ghost Shark, which requires you to go to Devil's Spine to find.
Once the sharks are arranged, you'll be rewarded with the Viscera Crane, which is a 3x2 L-shaped Fishing Rod that allows for Abyssal and Hadal Fishing, which is required to progress in the Stellar Basin.
Twisted Strand Shrine
- Shrine Location: E13
- Shrine Request: 1 Aberration
- Reward: Tap to Reveal
The Twisted Strand Shrine can be found at E13 in the middle of the jungle itself. The Shrine asks for just 1 single Aberration to be placed inside to solve. It can be any Aberration, so one from the Twisted Strand will do fine if you don't already have one on hand.
After placing the fish in the Shrine, you'll be rewarded with the Tendon Rod, which is an oddly shaped 3x2 Fishing Rod with one point in the middle missing which allows for Oceanic, Mangrove, and Shallow Fishing. If you don't already have a Mangrove Rod for the Twisted Strand, this is a great way to progress through.
Devil's Spine Shrine
- Shrine Location: P14
- Shrine Request: 2 Aberrations
- Reward: Tap to Reveal
The Devil's Spine Shrine can be found at P14, in the Northeast Corner of the Devil's Spine. This Shrine functions a little differently as it is associated with the Flames of the Deep main story Pursuit. The shrine will ask for any 2 Aberrations to be placed on the Altar.
Once completed, you'll receive 1 Fathomless Flame to continue your Pursuit, as well as the Encrusted Talisman, which is a 2x2 Fishing Rod that doesn't offer any additional fishing types but rather increases the odds of fishing up an Aberration when fishing.
