I bring this mod along 100% of the time because of the books. 1) they make the book rabbit way more interesting. 2) they buff your items, giving the game a more scaling feel.

There is a bug with the poison-to-damage book, I'll say: If you have it applied, and save the game, then restart the game from the "continue quick game" menu, the item rolls to negative numbers and drops your weapon's damage to zero. I strongly suspect that's a bug in the base game, though - I've seen it in other mods.

I'd love it if I could get just the books as their own mod, perhaps without the reset-uses books included; I rarely end up taking the Minecraft swords since their limited uses makes me too nervous (unless they're like netherite or diamond). Which, I know, that's the point, but if it happens in the middle of a battle, I'm in so much trouble...
