Description[]
It is a regular pencil with lead and a built-in eraser. There is an anchor symbol slightly below the eraser. It has the ability to bring drawings to life under the sea.

Role in series[]
"Frankendoodle"[]
It falls off the artist's boat and into the water to SpongeBob and Patrick, who use it to make magic drawings that come to life. They create DoodleBob with it, along with some other creations.
After the chaos DoodleBob causes, they throw it back into the boat, where the artist finds it, but the lead breaks.
"Doodle Dimension"[]
When skidding on the ground from a sudden stop of running in the Doodle Dimension, it makes a simple line that comes to life. This prompts SpongeBob to pull the magic pencil out and draw a bunch of simple doodles until Patrick draws SpongeBob, which is later revealed to be DoodleBob, who terrorizes the two by chasing them with the magic pencil. They both fight DoodleBob with the doodles they made of their own, but they later turn against SpongeBob and Patrick after DoodleBob redraws them to look evil.
He later kidnaps Patrick and brings him to a doodle castle to tie him on a flagpole. SpongeBob then attempts to rescue Patrick and fight DoodleBob at the same time. Patrick is later thrown at SpongeBob, which releases him from his rope. DoodleBob commands miniature DoodleBobs to attack SpongeBob and Patrick, with the latter eventually floating into the void of the blank dimension with other miniature DoodleBobs.

It is one of the many items that appears in the live-action close-up of Old Man Walker's box.
"Captain Pipsqueak"[]
DoodleBob can be seen holding the pencil while trying to join the League of E.V.I.L.

Trivia[]
- The live-action version of this pencil is longer while the animated version is shorter.
- The pencil sinks to Bikini Bottom when dropped in the ocean. In real life, human-made pencils are buoyant and float in water.
