New Warzone Intro Features Black Ops 6 and Frank Woods on a Wheelchair; Adler “Wanted” Posters Surface on Map

New Warzone Intro

For those playing Call of Duty: Warzone, Activision seems to have slotted in a new intro for the battle royale game, and it’s to promote Black Ops 6 that’s due out later this year.

The intro shows us Black Ops franchise protagonist Frank Woods, but this time, he’s on a wheelchair!

Not only do Warzone players get an intro, but there’s more references to Black Ops 6 in the game as well, and this one is a poster of Russell Adler and it seems the character is “Wanted” by certain individuals.

For those not familiar with Adler, here’s a character background info (via Call of Duty Fandom):

Special Officer Russell Adler is the deuteragonist to antagonist featured in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. He is a CIA agent charged with stopping the mysterious Soviet agent codenamed Perseus. Adler is described as “America’s monster” with a “dark charisma”.[1] He later serves as the protagonist of the post-launch seasonal narrative for Black Ops Cold War, going up against Vikhor “Stitch” Kuzmin

If you want to see the posters yourself, you can find them at the Orlov Military Base . Check out the image from on how to get to it (via Victor_Prometheus)

Chances are, there are more Black Ops 6 tidbits and Easter eggs scattered around Warzone’s map. We should be hearing (and seeing) more about Black Ops 6 in the coming days during the Call of Duty Direct happening on June 9 right after the Xbox Games Showcase.

Black Ops 6 has no release date set just yet, but expect it in the first week of November as per tradition. It’ll be available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
