Nodwin Gaming has announced an agreement with the Global Esports Federation (GEF), making Nodwin a Portfolio Management Company (PMC) for markets across South and Central Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and parts of Southeast Asia. With this partnership, Nodwin Gaming has also acquired exclusive rights to create and market GEF-licensed esports events in more than 20 countries. These include India, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Dubai, Pakistan, Bahrain, Jordan, Thailand, Vietnam, and also across the continent of Africa.

The GEF is an esports ecosystem that is associated with over 155 member federations. The organisation works towards promoting esports and growing the industry on a global scale.

Nodwin will also be able to host GEF-licensed events globally, and the company said in its announcement that its acquisition of Turkey-based Ninja Gaming makes it ready for efforts in Turkey, the Middle East, and North Africa. Recently, Nodwin also secured equity investment in Freaks 4U Gaming, which is a gaming and esports agency in Germany. The company will be conducting GEF-licensed events in non-exclusive regions through Freaks 4U Gaming’s network.

Akshat Rathee, co-founder and managing director of Nodwin Gaming, said the following on the partnership with GEF:

GEF truly epitomises the hopes and aspirations of all the developing world markets that Nodwin seeks to develop. We believe our partnership with GEF will bring the best of esports opportunities to the youth of the emerging world.”
