BGMI: BGIS 2024 Champions Team XSpark Talk About Scout as a Mentor, International Competitions and More

The Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2024 has ended, and Team XSpark has emerged victorious in the competition. After three days of intense battles in HITEX, Hyderabad, Team XSpark could easily beat their main competitor, Global Esports. The winning team took home a massive chunk of the prize pool, bringing home a staggering ₹60 lakhs. IGN India interviewed Team X Spark after their win, which you can check out below.
While talking to IGN India, Team XSpark’s members, Shubham Ranjan Sahoo, Saranga Deka, Tenzin Kelsang, and Harsh Malik, explain their roles in the game and describe their experience with Kelsang or Shadow, their in-game leader, and the members explain that they had put all their trust in him. The team also spoke about how impactful it was having the renowned Indian esports player Scout as their mentor, stating that they respected him and followed all his advice, leading them to victory.
Team XSpark also explained their mentality going into the last match, stating that they wouldn’t lose their steam in the final battle and bring home the trophy no matter what. Scout also entered the conversation, noting that this victory was not achieved overnight and that the team had taken years of hard work to reach this level. Scout also spoke how it's not just about winning the trophy, but also winning the love of the audience in these kinds of competitions.
Talking about international tournaments, Scout has announced that the team is ready. They just need a month’s worth of buffer time to understand the playstyles and types of competitions that take place in these regions.
